Inspired by the hedonism of Marbella beach and nightlife, models sported foam on their face and hair representing the frenzied foam parties whilst triangle bikini tops wear worn as trophy necklaces.
Extremes - short shorts, oversized baggy trousers, duck tape patterns to represent clothes torn and ripped off plus zips galore.

Christopher Shannon Menswear AW15 collection
Christopher Shannon Menswear AW15 collection combines elements of sportswear with more traditional fabrics to create a range of classically influenced looks.
The collection included cinched in puffer jackets
Intarsia knits with slogans of 'Thanks 4 Nothing' , 'Broken' and 'Save Me'
Oversized applique sweats
Reconstructed popper tracksuiting flashing a bit of bare flesh
Traditional fabrics include wool melanges and striped shirting contrasted with sheen tracksuiting and velcro embellished jerseys that can be customised with stick on shapes.
Colour palette: charcoal, black and white. navy with red, cobalt, soft oranges and yellows inspired by the crossover between the bright sunshine of a summer spent in Aix-en-Provence and the greys of London in the winter.
A plastic bag motif runs throughout the collection, inspired by photographers including Nigel Shafran. This can also be seen in accessories designed for Christopher Shannon Menswear by Judy Blame
Footwear was a collaboration with CAT to produce a limited edition Colorado boot in monochrome with either nylon meshes to emphasise a tech feel and 3D effect or canvas to create two modern industrial boot styles.

Topman Menswear Rules Britannia with NewGen Designers
Topman launches a t-shirt collection to celebrate and
support home-grown British talent.
Five NewGen designers were asked to create a t-shirt designed around the title ‘Menswear Rules Britannia’. Their take on this title was then produced on premium white roll-sleeved cotton tee, prices start at £18
Here's their designs:
Katie Eary
Describing herself as a true British patriot, 'Menswear Rules Britannia' means everything to her, she thinks her design sums this up perfectly. The print derives from two of her favourite things, the screaming cheetah (she loves anything from the feline family) and British military - in this case a Queen’s guards hat.
Sibling
The newly recruited NewGen Men collective Sibling (Sid Bryan, Joe Bates and Cozette McCreery) designed a print that is reminiscent of a souvenir from a weekend away or a fun day out. It is a knitted twist on a celebratory, quintessentially English memento of youthful camaraderie. In the synonymously British colours of red, white, and blue this t-shirt screams ‘Menswear Rules Britannia’.
James Long
The Fashion Forward 2012 winner designed a print based around all the different layers and history of being British. On close inspection you can see that Long has subtlety worked the Union Jack flag into his print.(better seen in the lifestyle image -check out the first straight line after the zig zags)
Lou Dalton
Dalton commissioned Alex Walker to hand draw faces of British Icons for her quirky design, sketches include: Elton John, Freddie Mercury, David Bowie among a few, all whom she felt have influenced British popular culture over the years.
and Christopher Shannon.
Renowned for re-working sportswear, Shannon has designed a t-shirt using his trademark all-over print design. This design uses a powerful ‘ MAN UP’ slogan.
£5 from the sale of each t-shirt will go to The British Fashion Council Princess of Wales Charitable Trust to support young designers.

Christopher Shannon Spring/Summer 2012 collection at London Fashion Week
Shannon keeps his
signature sportswear orientated staples but this time with a more formal edge
and fitted silhouette giving a more grown up appeal.
However after saying that
there are still the fun touches of youthful playfulness energising the
collection:
White polka dots on knee
length shorts
digital prints
and the rows of chunky tassels adorning the
bottom of shirts,
shorts
and middle of tops.
Classic colour palette of navy, white, black and grey
with block colours of bright orange
and
shades of blues.
Shirts and jackets
are in the usual Shannon mix of wide strips of colour blocks
but this time he
introduces a patchwork of small squares in the colourful Madras check.
Love the
blue madras patchwork check bomber jacket with its plain navy sleeves and the
blue madras patchwork check shirt with its white yoke. Both worn with slim
jogging pants.
Shannon keeps a
boyish charm and adds his own version of eco-friendly by using a mix of
different hair combs to create headpieces reminiscent of the Native American headwear.
Footwear by Swear- plimsolls and brogues with raised platforms and two tone block coloured soles.

Christopher Shannon AW11 collection at London Fashion Week
'Hold Yer Head Up’ inspiration came from Shannon’s interest in photojournalism and David Attenborough’s Human Planet series.,
where he noticed sportswear such as old track tops are worn by tribes along with their traditional garments,.
Here he added horizontal panels of Peruvian style embellished woven blanket fabrics on to cotton shirts
and nylon track suit tops.
Nylon frills entwined around track bottoms
and trimmed the middle and elbows of nylon kagool type tops,
some in multi rows of greys, whites and navy,
others a single row on track suit tops with matching bottoms.
The main colour palette was black, grey, white with a touch of navy, although a tiny splash of orange managed to creep in to the Peruvian fabrics.
