“We are proud to be working with the Scottish Football Association to produce this slick, fashion forward line. Scottish heritage and craftsmanship runs through everything we do and the opportunity to be associated with the national football team is something that means a lot to us and our customers. We are sure that football fans and fashionistas will love what we have to offer and will be proud to wear the Scottish colours in this contemporary Harris Tweed collection.” Paul Walker, Director of Walker Slater
The contemporary Harris Tweed fabric incorporates both the navy blue of the Scotland jersey and the light blue of the Saltire, the national Scottish flag.

Tweed and Tailoring - Walker Slater - Modern Heritage AW15 Ad Campaign Shots
Walker Slater has launched their AW15 ad campaign featuring
classic and modern clothing from formal to casual and countrywear in corduroy, Scottish
Harris tweed, Borders, Sheltand and cashmere wool tweed.
And for the Christmas
festivities there is smooth velvet in rich regal purple plus the classic black and navy.
Above is the Edward jacket in navy corduroy. Corduroy is often misinterpreted as the King's cloth ( we all know that velvet was the favourite fabric of the Kings) this jacket does have a regal touch as the cut was inspired by the dapper King Edward VIII
