Walker Slater Collaborate with Scottish Football Association for their Lastest Collection

The latest collection features various garments and accessories including the McColl Jacket, a fitted style for the athletic gent, with a short, more modern cut, the Ormond Waistcoat, a fitted number with notched lapel, five-button fastening and contrasting silk back with adjuster and the Law Holdall which are made from the Official Scottish FA Harris Tweed.

Idris Elba launches new Superdry Collection in style

Over 5,000 excited fans and customers descended on Regent Street in London yesterday to witness Idris Elba launch his premium menswear collection with iconic British fashion brand, Superdry.


Eager shoppers queued outside the Superdry Flagship Store to meet the global star and to buy the collection for the first time. Excitement has been building around the event for the last two weeks including Idris Elba teaser videos breaking the brand’s record for likes and shares online. Social interaction was off the scale on the day with record-breaking engagement across all channels.
 At 12 pm, Idris went outside the store to welcome his fans inside while press gathered for photographs.

 Shortly after, an Audience With Idris was held where the star gave an aspirational speech on the shop floor. Dressed in a cool navy cashmere crew neck jumper and refined wash jeans, both staple pieces from his collection, the Hackney-born actor said: “Thank you all so much for coming down to see me today. You stood outside waiting for me to show you my collection, and that’s massive to me – I love that. This is a collection I’m proud of, and I hope you like it.” In true Superdry style, attention to detail was flawless with Idris’s personal touches throughout. A live DJ set busted out the star’s favourite tunes while the collection’s cobalt blue branding took centre stage across the store. 


The celebrations continued into the evening with a special reader event for close friends, family and special guests, including British boxing champion David Haye and actress Noomi Rapace (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo). At 7 pm, Idris arrived by an entourage of black Range Rovers and an army of 12 models wearing the show-stopping collection, including ultra-fine thread shirts, cashmere knitwear, tailored heavy wool pea coats, butter-soft leather jackets and Premium triple-stitched down outerwear. The collection is now available to buy online and from premium Superdry stores and selected Selfridges store.

UK label maharishi have collaborated with London based Photographer Alastair Strong to produce a London climate inspired technical shoot.



It highlights a waterproof capsule collection that is integrated into the maharishi AW15 collection, with technical seam sealed jackets featuring Mat_Air™ Nylon in a number of urban silhouettes.
 The fabric is proprietary to Italian mill Serates, constructed from a waterproof, breathable membrane that features a porous micro-layer resulting in an incredibly soft touch.
Full protection from the elements is ensured with a plasma finishing process that results in extreme water repellant properties and durability.
It typically lasts three times the number of washing cycles of comparable fabrics, while offering four-way stretch for unimpeded movement, even in closely fitted styles.



 The capsule collection is designed with the urban commuter and traveller in mind.
Featuring pack-away hoods, secure pockets, neoprene side panels, ergonomic sleeve constructions, and unbeatable packability.
As per the maharishi ethos, the Integrated Transit Jacket takes design cues from the contemporary Police uniform, with both the Maha Parka and Long Waterproof Parka remaining true to classic military design.
 Rounding off looks are a waterproof high-frequency welded nylon backpack and MA phone bag with rubberised water resistant closure.
 For those seeking the ultimate in stealth there is the Shinobi Visor, modelled after elements of the US Army’s extreme extended cold weather kit. It features fleece backed reflective glass bead material so effective at returning white light to its source that it can conceal the identity from night-lit CCTV cameras.

Turning First World Problems into Third World Solutions: new ethical clothing brand FWP launches

FWP Clothing is a brand new ethically-minded t-shirt brand that helps to put the everyday into perspective with 10% of profits from each of their First World Problem t-shirt designs supporting a different Third World Need. First For Third.

Founders Greg and Jimmy, colleagues at innocent drinks, took inspiration from brands like TOMS shoes, and came up with the idea while at the office gym thinking about how we too often find ourselves complaining about menial things when there are real issues faced by many around the world. They then pitched for, and won, the £1000 innocent scholarship, voted by peers, to test the idea and have since launched the business with this funding.

 The launch range comprises of four designs in Men’s and Women’s variants, with one example being: ‘Wifi’s down again’, which supports Telecoms Sans Frontieres (Communications without borders) whom help refugees and disaster victims reconnect with their families using satellite phones.
