Turnbull & Asser x Thunderbirds - Limited Edition‏ Ties & Pocket Squares

The pieces revolve around the ITV-owned archive sketches featuring the famous five vehicles, as well as Lady Penelope’s car. These have been re-worked in fine line drawings to form recurring motifs for pocket squares.
Inspired by Brains’ iconic glasses, a focused range of geometric ties have also been designed, each lined with an imprint of the Thunderbirds comic strip. The selection is completed with a bolder pocket square that echoes the cartoon imagery.

“Thunderbirds was a T.V show that represented an amazing time when a generation of children could suspend belief to see a bunch of puppets save the world. As a child it was the vehicles that were the main appeal, and everyone had their favourite. I hope we have done the Tracy brothers and the Anderson’s justice with our tribute to the Thunderbirds” Dean Gomilsek-Cole Head of Design at Turnbull & Asser.

Male Grooming Myth Busters by ManCave‏

Myth #1 - The more shaving gel, the better the shave
False. When it comes to shaving gel, less is more. Smothering your chin in gel could leave you with dry skin and an empty shaving cream bottle sooner than you'd expected. The key is finding a cream that will provide even coverage and allow the blade to glide smoothly across the face with a small amount of product.
ManCave ShaveGel is infused with a Pre-Shave treatment to soften the beard while preparing skin for a close and comfortable shave, using only a small amount of product.

Myth #2 - Moisturisers will make oily skin oilier
Wrong! Contrary to popular belief, using moisturiser on oily skin will not increase oiliness. Moisturisers are designed to lock in the skin's naturally occurring moisture, as well as protect the skin from the daily elements.
ManCave’s natural face Moisturiser is enriched with bioactives to create a soothing easily absorbed formula, which rejuvenates, retextures and helps firm skin leaving a smooth matte finish.

Myth #3 - Men's and women's products are the same
False. Men’s skin is up to 20% thicker than women's. It's much oilier and ages differently too, so it needs different vitamins and minerals, which means different products.
ManCave’s products are developed specifically for men and the bold branding is an unapologetic statement of masculinity.

Myth #4 - Shaving after a shower is better Curveball.
This one is actually true. Shower steam opens up the pores for a closer, cleaner shave and to minimise skin irritation.
To get even more out of your shower, use an invigorating shower gel such as ManCave’s Lemon & Oak ShowerGel which has been developed to uplift and stimulate with a range of essential oils serving to prepare you for whatever the day holds.

JOHN LOBB FILM LAUNCH - A Singular Journey‏

In 1851 a farmer’s son by the name of John Lobb set foot on what was to become an exceptional journey of accomplishment. Aged 22, Lobb left his home in rural Cornwall and walked to London, carried only by his handmade boots.

The film opens with a map of Cornwall as it would have looked in the 19th century, introducing the villages Lobb journeyed through on his travels, many of which have informed the names of new styles in the Autumn | Winter collection.

A Singular Journey from John Lobb on Vimeo.
Directed by Lisa Gunning, the film depicts a young John Lobb venturing through the rugged Cornish countryside until he eventually reaches the city London.
The film's title; A Singular Journey, signifies not only this epic adventure, but the life of John Lobb himself. The voiced poem, commissioned especially for the film, is written by Cornish poet CP Nield and represents that of an older John Lobb looking back at his life.
