Ben Sherman SS18 menswear at London Fashion Week:Men

The SS18 collection takes inspiration from the 1960s Peacock Revolution when young men challenged the staid restrictions of the ‘normal’ masculine dress sense and embraced the Bohemian and psychedelic flamboyancy in patterns and colours.

Revisiting Ben Sherman’s heritage and love of music, the collection gives a nostalgic nod to the music and iconic festival posters of the 60s.

Tailoring is soft and relaxed creating a contemporary silhouette that is still reflective of the season’s psychedelic inspiration.

Vintage, British and spring floral art patterns are used throughout the collection

Plus a psychedelic peacock print.

Shorts are worn with summer jackets.

Colour palette is indigo and denim shades for outerwear alongside bolder hues of brick, tan, and claret with soft pinks.

Belstaff SS18 Menswear at London Fashion Week:Men

Inspired by the riders of the Paris to Dakar rally.

Travelling through extreme conditions it was in these unchartered territories that riders encountered many different cultures, climates and terrains which translates in to the collection, mixing modern performance fabrics with retro sports graphics and prints.

A Prince of Wales check coat is rendered in technical nylon rather than the traditional wool for a modern and multi seasonal take on a classic pattern

The collection also captures the romance of the North African landscape through a colour palette ranging from soft sun bleached hues of sand and tundra, scorched earth colours of brown, vibrant  copper and saffron to the stronger tones of the African sunset such as burnt orange and red.

All complemented with soft sage green, ash rose and blue chambray pastels.

Sportswear takes its cue from the early 80s with solid blues, reds and yellows.

Denim - this season sees the introduction of stressing, patchwork and eyelet elements.

'We shall not Wilt'
Drawing inspiration from protest marches, anti war slogans and flower power movements, BODYBOUND has created its SS18 collection around an unlikely symbol of rebellion - the flower.

Patterns included embroidered barbed wire stripes

And a thorny flower print adorn wide legged grunge trousers.

Intricately embellished flower patches are treated like rock'n'roll emblems.

Objects associated with political action and state violence are subverted with delicate fabrics, elaborate motifs and ornate textiles.

Utilitarian shapes, overdyed denim and military pockets, the collection juxtaposes machismo with feminity.

Blood Brother SS18 Collection at London Fashion Week:Men

For SS18 Blood Brother asks you to 'LOGIN' and abscond froun current reality, as a form of escapism from an increasingly negative and harmful environment.

It takes an abstract look at the immediate future and the way we are currently treating and destroying our planet. It may not be long before we have to disappear online to seek what we desire.

With the rise of technology, the collection aims to playfully engage into the idea of seeking personal pleasures in a digital 'haven'

Digital prints are used as a medium to explore the digital playground created by the big brother-esque 'BBCORP' .

These example of fantasy  are accompanied by telling signs of commercialism and glitches in the seemingly perfect landscape in the form of finger prints and sleazy advertising.

Photgraphic imagery of a Lamborghini Diablo gives rise to the Fast Car colour palette in primary pop colours to show off the digital gigawatt sun.

The collection features checked wool alongside sheer eggshell grey nylon, in tailored city slicker jackets and boiler suits that give an authentic nod to nostalgic and outdated objects of vintage technology.

Hedonistic fringing and tie dying are found,

in addition to the classic trench coat in mock croc encouraging exhibitionism through a removal from human inhibition.

Footwear - the loafer is this season's new addition to the footwear range, creating another link to the yuppie phenomenon of the early tech era
