Burberry Prorsum Menswear SS13 - Milan video
At the menswear Milan Fashion week for SS13, Burberry Prorsum collection was awash with colourful metallics ranging from subtle touches of bright blue peeping out from the back of turned up collars, suave silver shirts to an unmissable neon pink trench coat. But is wasn't all metallic bling as the more muted blends of browns and caramels graced patterned shirts and bomber jackets.
What did you think of the music choice? The 'Crying' song gave me a bit of a headache.

AM Golhar mens AW12 knitwear collection
AM Golhar loves the styles of military clothing and so always brings some concept of this in to all of
her collections.
This AW12 season she creates shoulder and elbow patches within
the knit to give that military jumper feel. Here worn with her checkered knitted jogging bottoms with two rows of cable stitching down the side emulating the stripes worn down military trousers..
The above 'Bobby' style was recreated from the military polo jumper with Am adding a special touch of knitting technique.
Inspired from a 1973 military cape, 'Oscar' is recreated in heavy gauge cashmere knit. Worn here with plain knitted jogging bottoms adorned with a cable stripe at the front seam..
The Corby cardigan was inspired by the blazer jacket with AM changing the shape of the neckline.

Main colour palette is black and shades of grey, but brightened with blues and dark red.
Leyton jumper has a traingular neckline similar to a neck scarf. In a medium gauge using a diamond lace hole knitting technique. Worn here with knitted joggers using the trellis technique for a 3D textured effect..
Giving a Cossack feel is the Sylvester -assymetrical shape jumper with colour block stripes. worn here with plain knit joggers with cable stripes at the side.
Also in the collection are soft leather joggers, a popular piece since her AW10 collection.
Her vision for this season was to create a collection with a tailored smart appearance whilst using very luxurious soft yarns such as cashmere, cotton and angora.

A New Year - A New Place to Shop- Brian Clarke's New Flagship Store
Happy New Year!
Have you made a New Year Sartorial Resolution?
Then check out luxury menswear designer Brain
Clarke’s new flagship boutique just off Marylebone High Street for your new sartorial shopping spree. Here you will
see high quality tailoring using cloth produced by the mills in Scotland and
Italy whilst Clarke takes the classic heritage look and adds his own contemporary
touch.
For his SS12 collection he takes his inspiration from the
nineteenth century young academics:
A softer modern bib front on Clarke’s shirts emulates the
traditional starched shirt fronts, and the high standing rounded collars the
look that was so popular in mid 1800 Eton College.
Tan leather brogues are
given a twist with off centre lacing and the Regatta blazer is available in double
as well as the traditional single breasted.
For the present
colder winter months he updates two traditional
coat styles:
The classic rugged pea coat shows its softer side with faux
fur. Price £800. And the sheepskin coat‘s cheeky ‘Delboy’ reputation is replaced
with an edgy and trendier look by Clarke’s design of a slimmer fit, unfinished edges, double breasted
and detachable hood.
Loving his cosy sheepskin aviator jacket at the hot price of £1,200
Clarke’s new boutique also provides in-store
bespoke tailoring.
Address: 26 Paddington Street, Marylebone,
W1U 5QY.
