A key piece in the New York Stories collection is the new weekender city blazer. Lght and soft almost like a cardigan. This unconstructed blazer is unlined and easy to wear. On those cold days, turn up the collar to reveal the check pattern underneath. Available now at the London flagship store in Regent Street.

Worn with soft butter twill chinos in narrow leg style.
And the crew neck jumper in the criss cross 'pineapple' pattern. The solid twill shirt underneath revives the Ivy League detailing of a button at the back of the collar. Originally the purpose was to keep the skinny tie from slipping.
Like most Gant shirts, this one also has the locker loop. The locker loop was used (and still can be) to hang up the shirt in the gym lockers. Also a good story behind the locker loop is that students used to cut one part of the loop to show that they were single and available, and then sew it back on
when they weren't.
And sticking to their Ivy League roots is the new style winter Varsity jacket with elbow patches.
Here worn with the lambswool university cardigan in pacific blue with contrasting dark red placket and front pockets. An embroidered patch of the Gant 49 logo features on the front.
