Converse Essentials Collection

This AW 2016, CONVERSE introduces the Converse Essentials collection of timeless apparel staples, designed to wear better with time.
With a nod to the Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers, the Converse Essentials collection not only looks better with age and wear, but becomes even softer with each wear. Each piece includes fabric that fades naturally with long-term wear, durable stitching and a managed shrinkage fit that remains the same throughout its lifespan.

 The new Converse Essentials collection, offered for both men and women, consists of today’s apparel mainstays, including a tee, crewneck, pant and pull-over hoodie.

The pre-washed material allows for minimal shrinking with men’s pieces cut for a modern fit allowing for maximum movement and layering, and a women’s cut that is a bit more form fitting, both crafted for ultimate style and flattery.

Movado Releases New 'Series 800' Collection

 Three  men’s 3-hand models with coloured dials and matching bezels join the Movado Series 800 collection this year. Styled with cleanly sculpted extended lugs, the substantial 40 mm cases of these three new quartz-powered watches are crafted of solid Performance Steel™ with a contrasting smooth/satin finish.
 The dial – in blue, black or green to match the bezel – is detailed by silver-toned applied luminescent stick markers, signature concave dot, and hour, minute and seconds hands, with a date window at 3 o’clock, and the name “Series 800” printed in red.

Diadora x Sneaker Freaker

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Sneaker Freaker, Diadora has collaborated with the renowned sneaker magazine with the “Taipan” version of an iconic Diadora Sportswear shoe: the V7000.

Sneaker Freaker’s creative take on the Diadora V7000 is inspired by the taipan, a deadly Australian snake.
Sandy suede, olive nubuck, reactive 3M hits and venomous violet highlights are a rugged package.

The midsoles are boldly blazed with a gradient mid-foot fade and the debossed ‘snakeskin’ paneling provides extra reptile air.
 Another unique twist is the custom branding. Sneaker Freaker reworked Diadora’s classic tongue design, adding the ‘Taipan’ project logo and a golden serpent slithering across the black suede, which replaces the usual Diadora ‘squiggle’.
Flip the shoes over and bold pink fangs mark the V7000’s sole. Custom Taipan packaging represents the stylish touch of this memorable partnership.

 The Taipan will be sold in Europe exclusively at Foot Locker stores in Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark and the UK.
The shoe will be released next November 23rd during the Foot Locker’s Week of Greatness. Limited pairs will also be available for purchase at Sneaker Freaker’s online store and via footlocker.eu/diadora.

There is a new watch brand that's hit the UK -. 'William L.1985' wants to democratize watches, breaking traditional codes by providing affordable quality watches. Designs are inspired by an inconic 50's vintage Swiss chronograph, resulting in a seriously stylish collection

William L. 1985 was founded by Guillaume Laidet, a young timepieces aficionado who use to work in the Swiss watch industry. After several years at the service of some of the most prestigious watchmaking companies, he decided to start his own brand, aiming at offering meaningful collections inspired by a 50s vintage chronograph that he inherited from his grand-grand-uncle.
This family jewel, once restored, quickly caught the eyes of his friends but the price, for most of them, was a real deal breaker. This is exactly why William L. 1985 was born: to offer quality timepieces with classic designs for a very attractive price point.
For nearly a year and thanks to his many contacts within the watchmaking industry, Guillaume developed a modern and affordable version of his vintage chronograph.
The brand does not hide its Chinese production. Each piece is conceived in Paris and manufactured in Shenzhen, enabling William L. 1985 to compete in this price range.

Caorunn collaborate with City of Trees to create pop up Apple Orchard

On September 30th, Caorunn, the handcrafted Scottish gin, transformed the Oast House, Spinningfields, into a vibrant apple orchard and offered the first 500 passers-by a complimentary Caorunn G&T for a truly beautiful crisp, fresh taste of the Highlands.

 The Caorunn’s apple orchard with live trees ran for one day during the Manchester Food and Drink Festival. The fragrant fruit is one of the five Scottish botanicals, along with dandelion, heather, bog myrtle and rowan berry, that are infused into the handcrafted Scottish gin.
Caorunn was uniquely served with thin red apple slices to create an invigorating, clean, sweet, full-bodied and aromatic taste for a long-lasting dry and crisp finish.
Caorunn teamed up with City of Trees to create the unique orchard. The innovative movement, set to re-invigorate Greater Manchester’s landscape by planting three million trees, one for every man, woman and child that lives in the City Region.

 Following their time at the Oast House, Spinningfields, the trees are being donate to Snipe Clough, Oldham, where they will be planted to form part of a new community orchard.
