KENZO AW15 menswer Collection at Paris Fashion Week

For AW15 KENZO looked towards individuality, survival, protection and the functional.

KENZO celebrate the signs of others and observed symbolism as communication through cult scribbles, care labels and unique prints.

Layered silhouettes throughout the collection provide warmth and security against the elements.

They deconstructed to reconstruct the functional.

Waterproof nylon parkas in green and orange offer a utilitarian protection over boxy shaped fine wool jackets.

Parachute seams on silk and wool trousers also appear on shirt and jacket sleeves.

Oversized pinstripe wool overcoats with blanket stitched reveres are a nod to the traditional when worn alongside silver foiled outerwear.

Knitwear highlights include thick intarsias, and multicoloured blinkers collaged together.

Rich dark greens are mixed with blacks, greys and burgundy.

Brightness is introduced with flashes of metallic or orange.

For accessories, patchwork utility shoes and boots are laced together.

Knitted hand warmers and beanies, and drawstring totes come in leather and stretch satin or fleece.

KENZO Spring Summer 2015 Campaign‏

KENZO Spring Summer 2015 campaign reflects the combination of bright and futuristic inspirations from the KENZO  men's Spring Summer 2015 Collections.

Set in a graphic and modern cityscape, the campaign conveys an optimistic utopia and also provides an element of surprise in the images. The viewer witnesses at once something instantly recognisable and familiar but upon closer reflection records an observation into the unknown.

To imagine the new KENZO world, creative directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim once again called on the talents of Toiletpaper, a collective composed of artist Maurizio Cattelan, photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari and art director, Micol Talso.
