House of Holland SS17 Men's Collection
Devastated that he missed out on the halcyon days of the Hacienda, designer Henry Holland is recreating one of the country's most magical club scenes for his Season 3 Menswear collection.
Satirical flyer artwork and archive imagery from the North's most iconic club create the graphics for the collection. A succinct capsule selection of dance floor must haves, inspired by then but perfect for now.
Hand embellished, embroidered denim and suiting is in collaboration with embroidery artist Scott Ramsay Kyle.
Ximon Lee SS17 Men's Collection (presented by GQ china)
Ximon Lee views each season as a study, the realization of a sustainable concept to be revisited for the next study after.
His second study is SS17 HARD which is a further exploration of the concealing and uncovering of the body.
The collection is inspired by a growing boy's journey and how his perception of that which is hard and tough is framed by his preconceptions.
The inspiration is reflected in fragile materials that are tailored in hard silhouettes. playing with conventional workwear and unconventional embellishment and placements.
Harsh techniques contrast the serene and the disturbed, including acid-wash, silicone concealing, latex coating and tailored tarpaulin.

Tiger of Sweden SS17 Men's Collection
Tiger of Sweden was inspired by the Royal Palace of Sweden 'Kungliga Slottet' which was built in the flamboyant baroque style by architect Nicodemus Tessin whilst King Karl XII made changes to make it more minimal, creating a juxtaposition of decadence and restraint.
A baroque garden inspired print adorns suits, bombers and windbreakers.
Bright bold stripes adorn blousons and wide leg trousers.
Regency style mourning suits are worn with nylon field jackets and smart poplin shirts.
Sheer jumpers are also teamed with crisp poplin shirts.
Utilitarian zip up field vests in monochromatic shades are worn over traditional cotton tailoring.
All worn with sneakers throughout the collection.

BELSTAFF ANNOUNCES NEW WORLD LAND SPEED RECORD ATTEMPT
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLES
• Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) World Record attempt to take place at the Bonneville Speedway, Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah, 22-25 August 2016
• TT legend and multiple speed world record holder Guy Martin confirmed as rider for 2016 Triumph world record attempt
• The Triumph Rocket III Streamliner powered by two Triumph Rocket III engines, producing a staggering 1,000 bhp
The aim is to exceed the current record that stands at 376.363 mph, using its purpose built 1,000 bhp Triumph Infor Rocket Streamliner.
Riding the purpose-built Triumph Infor Rocket Streamliner over the measured mile will be Isle of Man TT racer and multiple speed record holder Guy Martin.
The Triumph Infor Rocket features a carbon Kevlar monocoque construction with two turbocharged Triumph Rocket III engines producing a combined 1,000 bhp at 9,000 rpm.
The motorcycle is 25.5 feet long, 2 feet wide and 3 feet tall. Powered by methanol fuel, the bike is competing in the Division C (streamlined motorcycle) category.
Both Belstaff and Triumph have previous connections with land speed racing.
Belstaff was founded in 1924, the year the first person used the British coastline of Pendine Sands for a world land speed record attempt. On September 25, 1924, Malcolm Campbell set a world land speed record of 146.16 mph (235.22 km/h) on this Welsh stretch of sand in his Sunbeam 350HP car Blue Bird.
Triumph has a history of breaking the land speed record, holding the title of ‘World's Fastest Motorcycle’ between 1955 to 1970*. The record-breaking Triumph Streamliners included: Devil's Arrow, Texas Cee-gar, Dudek Streamliner and Gyronaut X1, the former achieving a top speed of 245.667 mph (395.28 km/h). Today's record, held by Rocky Robinson since 2010 riding the Top Oil-Ack Attack streamliner, sits at 376.363 mph (605.697 km/h).
Guy Martin commented: “I can’t wait to take the Triumph Infor Rocket Streamliner onto the salt at Bonneville for the first time this summer. The Triumph engineers have built an amazing machine, giving us the very best chance to beat the two-wheeled land speed record in August.”
Guy will be dressed in a custom-made Belstaff branded race-suit, and the engineers and team will be dressed in Belstaff. The iconic Bonneville name was conceived following Johnny Allen’s land-speed record runs at the Salt Flats in September 1955, when he reached the record breaking speed of 193.72 mph. The first T120 Bonneville model was unveiled at the Earls Court Bike Show and went on sale in 1959.
With final testing scheduled at the Bonneville Salt Flats in early August, the record attempt will take place 22-25 August 2016.
To mark the record, Belstaff is launching a limited edition Pure Motorcycle protective jacket, named the Streamliner 400 in homage to the rocket and the number of mph to be exceeded – also the number of jackets this issue is limited to.
