Clarks Originals Supporting Record Store Day 2013

Clark Originals are collaborating with US band Best Coast to support Record Store Day 2013.
Record Store Day sees independently owned record stores come together with labels and musicians to celebrate the art of music with free gigs and exclusive releases. The date is Sat 20 April.
The Clarks/Best Coast collaboration is of an exclusive track produced on vinyl  and  limited edition Desert Boots:

Now it's the turn of the 'Specials' celebrating the melting pot movement in the 1980's when vintage ska, rocksteady and reggae collided with punk and pop.

Clark Originals have designed four Special Edition Desert Boots which are inspired by four defining moments in the story of music.

Hainsworth the textile manufacturer company has been manufacturing fabrics for ceremonial paradewear for over 200 years which includes the Royal Guards uniform outside Buckingham Palace. And now they are supplying Clarks Originals with the same material for this Red Fabric Desert Boot.

A salute to the Beatle's Sergeant Pepper and 60s psychedelia, the boot is decorated with gold piping, button trims and a dyed crepe sole.
Every pair has a special fob featuring Clark's Rock Royalty crest.
