Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in London With British GQ


On Saturday, 15th June 2013, Domenico Dolce, Stefano Gabbana and Dylan Jones, the Editor in Chief of British GQ, will celebrate the opening of the fourth Dolce&Gabbana boutique in London.


This event that will be part of the official London Collections: Men’s calendar during which the Summer 2014 Tailoring Collection for men will be presented.

At the new store, Italian and British sartorial traditions meet and blend into  a new, one-of-a-kind space, designed and created exclusively for London.
Located at 53-55 New Bond Street, the new boutique is part of the Group retail development strategy – the creation of a series of special stores where the classic Dolce & Gabbana style finds a new expression through the traditions and identities of the cities the stores are in.

Bentley Fragrance for Men


Okay we may not be able to afford to own and drive a Bentley Motor, but now we can get the essence of this iconic car in a bottle!  

Collaborating with perfume houses Firmenich and Robertet, Bentley has created three men’s fragrances:
Top perfumer Nathalie Lorson from Firmenich has created two of the three fragrances reflecting the ambience of Bentley’s luxurious handcrafted interior.


Bentley for Men – eau de toilette
Top Notes: Black pepper, Bay leaves and Bergamot. Bergamot to get the attention and the black pepper represents the radiance and shine of the chrome in the car.
Heart: Rum SFE, Cinnamon, Clary safe and Leather NP. The key is the use of the natural rum essence which enhances the leather notes and combined with the cinnamon and sage gives a masculine tobacco fragrance.
Bottom Notes: Cedarwood, Patchouli, Musk and Benzoin Siam. The cedar adds the woody notes whilst the musk and benzoin Siam convey a feeling of comfort and warmth.

Bentley Intense for Men – eau de parfum
As the name suggests, this is more intense, therefore more leather, more spices and more patchouli.
Top Notes: Black Pepper, Incense SFE, African geranium. The African Geranium is a crisp green fresh scent which balances the earth qualities of the incense.
Heart:  Clary Sage, Labdanum resin, Leather NP. The labdanum resin smoothly rounds out the leather notes to create an intense amber resonance.
Bottom Notes: Cedarwood, Patchouli, Sandalwood. Intensifies the woody notes with Sandalwood.
The design of the bottles also represents the Bentley but this time the exterior, taking inspiration from the old style radiator grills of the first cars.  Like the grills, the bottle curves gently to a point at the front, the trademark logo of the B in Wings emblem is displayed above and the bottle’s top represents the actual radiator cap.  This ‘radiator cap’ has a band of the signature Bentley etching: the knurling pattern – a tactile design of 4 sided little pyramids.
Bentley for Men packaging is crafted in matt silver whilst the packaging for Bentley Intense is in a copper tone.
The fragrance is available at Harrods and soon at selected House of Fraser and Boots stores

For a truly luxurious feel, there is the third fragrance Lalique for Bentley Crystal Edition.
The flacon base is angular and adorned with Lalique for Bentley lettering.  The stopper is 3D frosted and polished crystal mould of the iconic Flying B hood ornament mascot. The flacon holds only 40ml so as not to lose the notes of the fragrance and is presented in a walnut coloured box with a light leather interior. With the collectable is a 100ml of the fine eau de parfum and a small funnel to fill up the flacon.
 The eau de parfum was composed by Mylene Alran from Robertet and again is linked to the ambience of the interior design and the lifestyle.
Top Notes: White cedar wood and Orris butter. Orris butter accord has a floral woody aroma, strengthens the other notes and preserves them from evaporating. It is also one of the most expensive raw materials in the world
Heart: Patchouli and Papyrus. The Papyrus evokes a dry woody aroma.
Base Notes: Musk and dry amber giving a smoky woody note.



Only 999 flacons have been made of this collectable item and will be available in Harrods, Lalique boutiques and the Bentley motor stores. Price on request

Centre Commercial Pop-Up Store at Selfridges – May/June 2013


Selfridges has invited Centre Commercial to create a pop-up installation on the first floor of the iconic London department store to celebrate the launch of the new footwear brand.

Up until mid-June 2013, the installation features a 3 metre-tall wall encrusted with wood Marquetry. The inlays include walnut, oak and golden veneers that create an abstract pattern. 

Mixing influences from this traditional luxurious craft and modern elements of copper and steel, the space is the perfect setting to showcase the Centre Commercial collection of modern men’s shoes hand-made in Brazil with traditional techniques and natural materials.

Top Man SS13 Festival Video



Get ready for the Festival season www.topman.com

Topman has an abundance of denim shorts on offer this festival season, ranging from tie dye to acid wash to cuts offs, team them with a varsity vest, a dip dyed tee or a sleeveless hooded gillet. For the more preppy festival look there are chino shorts which can be paired with a polo tee and a cotton bomber.

For the more streetwear look there are neon snapback caps, block coloured beanies, denim gillets and printed joggers. Oh and we couldn’t leave out the trusty, all important festival leather jacket which looks perfect over a hoodie and vest teamed with the simple black skinny.

Because of the ever so changeable weather Topman have stocked up on wellies and macs, including a waterproof range by RAINS and the high shine wellies by Havaiana.

Agi & Sam For Topman - The Owls Collection


This new collection launches 16 May and the concept was inspired by football and football kits.

Particularly between 1990-92 when kits were adorned by amazing prints.

 They decided to name their collection after a fictitious football club ‘The Owls’.....


.... with all prints inspired by owls and their eggs, shells and feathers.


 They then imagined a young handsome George Best wearing them.
