Maison De Choup - New Warrior not Worrier Collection

With the new Warrior not Worrier Collection George Hodgson, founder of Maison de Choup, wanted to create pieces which show a positive message of hope and demonstrate that we are stronger than our mental health.
25% of the proceeds from the sale of the Warrior not Worrier t-shirts will be donated to YoungMinds.

YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. They provide information, advice and support through their online resources and a free helpline for parents and carers, training for professionals, campaigning, projects with young people and work in schools.

The new Warrior not Worrier Hoodies come in blue and grey with a plain front and the powerful slogan showing we are stronger than our mental health on the reverse. Price: £65 Sizes: S, M, L

The Collection includes a range of 6 white understated cool cotton tees Tear, Breathe, Faces, Resist, Warrior not Worrier (which also comes in yellow) and Light at the End of the Tunnel which has been created in collaboration with award-winning mental health blogger and best-selling author of ‘We’re All Mad Here’ Claire Eastham. Prices: £35 Sizes: XS - XL

Faces is intended to express how the face shows contrasts with the crippling anxiety often felt inside the sufferer and how it is sometimes hard to express the emotional pain felt.

Tear is an attempt to express anxiety with a minimal motif which shows that the eye and tear are on different levels. Although tears are not there when sufferers don’t feel too bad they are always there below the surface.

Resist and Breathe are powerful words of support and a reminder for sufferers that other people are aware of what they are going through.

The Light at the End of the Tunnel t-shirt gives out a message of hope showing that anxiety can be conquered and sufferers can learn how to live a normal life with it. This t-shirt was developed in conjunction with award-winning mental health blogger and best-selling author of ‘We’re All Mad Here’ Claire Eastham.

Claire writes about her own experiences of social anxiety and panic attacks with humour but without resorting to medical jargon. Price: £35 Sizes: XS – L We're all MAD here by Claire Eastham: £13 Special offer: T-shirt + Signed Book £45 (Limited to first 10 orders only.)

Just Like You- Citizens of Humanity Charity Video Campaign

This month marks the launch of Citizens of Humanity’s 12 month charity video campaign “Just Like You”. Each month, two videos will be released featuring interesting and respected creatives and professionals from a variety of cultural backgrounds including Michelin-starred chefs, pro-surfers and this month prolific ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov (who you may also recognise as “The Russian” from Sex and the City!). The videos offer an insight into the lives of these people as they muse on their lives and achievements.

“You go through your daily routine with the hope that you will be a little better…and do something meaningful. I believe this program does something significant both in its philanthropy and in hopefully inspiring others in their creative journey,” said Baryshnikov.

For October Baryshnikov is profiled alongside founder of Citizens of Humanity and denim guru Jerome Dahan. Each month the two participants will also design /customise a tee that will be sold online, with all proceeds going to a charity of their choice.
