The Belstaff
Autumnl/Winter 2014 collection pays tribute to the British motorcycle riders of
the 1965 International Six Day Trial race on the Isle of Mann. With these fearless
racers in mind and Belstaff’s deep-rooted history in motorsport, this collection is based on protection, functionality and
endurance
Drawing reference from the Belstaff archive and redefining pieces
with a contemporary relevance to create this era’s Belstaff uniform.
Durable riding
suits are paired with oversized motorcycle capes and foul weather parkas. Wool
patterns are layered upon leathers and signature waxed cottons.
The classic
Belstaff 4-pocket jacket takes new form in the Sportmaster: designed with a
modular dropout lining. A reinvention of an archival piece.
A hand waxed
shearling moto parka is paired with trial rider trousers featuring signature
Belstaff pockets and off road shearling lined motorcycle boots.
Authentic
accessories define performance and provide protection from the outdoor elements
in the form of waxed cotton and shearling gauntlet gloves, knitted balaclavas
and waxed cotton riders hats with protective face guards.
