Russell & Bromley AW15 mens collection

Key feature for AW15, Russell & Bromley men's shoes is texture.

Tassel Loafers are adorned with wool in traditional eye catching Alpine knit pattern - great for Xmas! For the more conservative, there is the plush yet subtle velvet fronts.

More for everyday, the classic tassel loafer was given a countryside feel with tweed cloth and tonal leather trim, whilst the bold colour blocking of black and golden tan gave a contemporary touch.,

Brogues mixed leather with check suit cloth .

Colour contrasting shoe laces  brought a fun element to the Oxford brogue.

For evening wear, there was a choice of the smooth plush velvet slipper or the shiny sparkling lace up.

Oliver Sweeney Brogues with Johnnie Walker mini whisky bottle in the heel‏

JOHNNIE WALKER® RED LABEL® has teamed up with men’s footwear and accessories label, Oliver Sweeney, to craft the most challenging, different and stylish innovation in the industry to date.

The JOHNNIE WALKER Oliver Sweeney Brogue is a footwear first – and goes to show that when the perfect brand collaboration brings together style, design and flair, as well as a passionate attention to detail, the most ambitious brief can be overcome.

The JOHNNIE WALKER Oliver Sweeney Brogue is the sophisticated alternative to a classic, as constructed within each expertly crafted heel is a miniature of JOHNNIE WALKER RED LABEL. Taking its lead from the platform and stack heel trend, the classic Oxford style Brogue will see you enjoy a bold night out with added street style thanks to its classic punching and wingtip detail.

Renowned for its bold, characterful taste, JOHNNIE WALKER RED LABEL is balanced to shine through even when mixed, so both a bottle of Ginger Ale and a recipe card are included in the shoe box, enabling you to enjoy the new serve, JOHNNIE & GINGER.

Collaborative partner Oliver Sweeney has proven the devil is in the detail with 130 pairs crafted – each taking two days to make, using only the finest calf leather – completed with the iconic JOHNNIE WALKER ‘striding man’ tattooed directly onto the leather.
The design also sees the signature JOHNNIE WALKER RED LABEL colours feature in the stitching, inner sole and dust bag, while the leather is a tanned whisky colour. The launch comes as the whisky brand launches The Bold Collections; a series of ventures fusing drinks and design.

Ted Baker Footwear x Fashion Blogger Prince Cassius = Two new Derby Brogues.

In honour of all fashion bloggers, Ted Baker Footwear names two of their SS13 shoes after the ‘Prince’ of Fashion Bloggers: Mr Prince Cassius.
Having met with Ted’s cobblers earlier in 2012, Prince chose two favourite styles in the SS13 collection, one is casual and one formal, lending his name and charisma to both ‘Jamfro’ and ‘Cassius’.

The Jamfro is a soft suede leather derby brogue with a carefree holiday feel to them.  It has a contrasting white rubber sole, white stitch details and white laces.

A light chalky grey shade is available through House of Fraser
http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Ted+Baker+Jamfro+suede+brogue+shoes/180581998,default,pd.html

And soon to come is the beautiful pastel sky blue shade.
And why the name Jamfro It is a combination of the Swahili welcome word ‘Jambo’ and Afro the haircut. Actually Prince always refers to his own well coiffed and over sized afro style as a ‘Fro’

Cassius (no prizes for the origin of this name) is another derby brogue shoe. This time in the more formal style of the spectator shoe with the toe and heel cap in a darker contrasting colour.. The Cassius also takes the spectator concept further with a contrast of materials used, a combination of leather and canvas.
For that added dapper touch, the lining is in a navy polka dot design. Price £130
Black and grey comb available soon

Prince has over 8,600 twitter followers who avidly read all about his fashion news and updates. His twitter name is @PRINCECASSIUS if you too would like to follow him.

GEOX and Patrick Cox design Golden Brogues for Elton John

GEOX the premier Italian footwear brand famous and British shoe designer Patrick Cox have created the eye catching footwear that Elton John will wear during his new show The Million Dollar Piano, which has just opened at Caesar’s Palace in Vegas.

It’s a traditional English brogue but with a showbiz twist of metallic leather in all colours of the rainbow. And if all the champagne popping makes the floor a little wet, Elton's shoes will be protected as they are made in GEOX innovative leather patent, which makes leather soles champagne and waterproof.

Mr Mario Moretti Polegato, Chairman of GEOX comments "I am happy to collaborate with such a great artist as Elton John, whose music I have always loved, and I see fashion and innovation coming together on a stage that will attract global attention."

The Million Dollar Piano Tour opened at Caesar’s Palace on 28th  September 2011 and is named after the unique Yamaha piano that Elton John and Yamaha created especially for the show.

GEOX is the premier Italian footwear brand known for its invention of the “shoe that breathes". GEOX created a cult-like following in more than 100 countries with its breathable technology and stylish Italian design offering fashionable collections for women's, men's and children. Headquartered in Italy, GEOX is available in more than 1000 monobrand stores and 10.000 independent stores worldwide. GEOX is a publicly traded company since 2004.

ABOUT GEOX TECHNOLOGY  GEOX boasts an exclusive technology that is used in the manufacturing and designing of all the footwear that bares its name.  At the heart of this invention is a microporous membrane that acts like a second skin. When placed inside the GEOX perforated rubber sole, the membrane manages sweat and heat, allows humidity to be evaporated and keeps water out and feet dry. Each pore of this membrane is smaller than a water droplet so that water can’t penetrate the membrane but big enough to let sweat vapour, a molecule 700 times smaller than a drop of water, to easily pass through the membrane and right out through the holes of the sole.  Both waterproof and breathable, GEOX’s revolutionary technology provides comfort and wellbeing by constantly eliminating moisture and preventing odours that typically develop when shoes don’t ventilate, recreating an ideal microclimate inside the shoe to keep feet cool and dry in the summer and warm and dry in the winter

PATRICK COX the Canadian born British designer is best known for his cutting edge shoes for men and women.  He studied footwear design in London England and upon leaving Cordwainers college in 1983 he collaborated on shoe collections with iconic fashion designers such as Vivienne Westwood and John Galliano.  Cox launched his own Patrick Cox label in 1986 and the Wannabe label in 1994. Patrick Cox has been called the “Ferragamo” of the MTV generation and with his cool shoes he made everyone aware that shoe designers existed - before anyone had even heard of Sex in the City.  Stars like Michael Jackson, Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman and David Beckham have all stepped out in Patrick’s shoes.  Cox was twice awarded the British Accessories Designer of the Year Award (1994 and 1995) and the Fashion Medal of Honor by the Footwear Association of New York in 1996.  His shoes can be found in the museum collections worldwide.
