The advantage of the short sleeved shirt is
that you can go overboard with the pattern, so why not splash out with the Hawaiian
shirt? Well you either love them or you hate them, but they do conjure up
images of surf, sea and sand and are making a comeback as a retro summer look.

are conscious of your tummy, they make a great cover up with shorts or swimwear
whilst on the beach.

Originally called the ‘Aloha’ shirt, Chinese
merchant Ellery Chun and his sister started creating these brightly coloured floral
shirts in the 1930’s from kimono fabric which soon became a hit with the
tourists, local residents and surfers alike. And the King of Rock, Elvis
Presley was often seen wearing one in his younger days.
