Titled Jazz life the collection brings together jazz styling of the US East Coast scene and the attire of artisans in Britain in the 1960s.

Main range is the PLECTRUM.

Kool for iKats! -The statement print is the ikat-camo ( a cross between the ikat print and camouflage) and can be seen on shirts, tees and as accents on jackets and polo

Main colour palette is muted with burnt orange, ochre, khaki green, slate and cream .

Chinos and shorts offer an array of sun kissed colours including raspberry red, peach tinted orange, turquoise and light yellow.

Double breasted jackets are paired with matching shorts for a less formal approach to the suit on summer days.

New York party for H&M x Maison Martin Margiela collaboration

Kanye West, Alan Cumming and Chase Crawford were among the guests at a party in New York to celebrate H&M’s collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela.

The unique event was held across many floors of 5 Beekman Street, a historical building in the city’s financial district. Guests were able to discover the collection in dance performances by noted choreographer Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker and through specially commissioned art installations, before DJ’s kept the party going into the early hours.

“I’m here to see the lovely Margiela collection. I love the way H&M is doing collaborations with other designers. It’s a great thing, to make clothes stylish and affordable. The collaborations are a great idea, they are really amazing!” says Alan Cumming.

Bally introduces Luxury Eyewear Collection

Bally introduces its first collection of luxury eyewear

Created in collaboration with the international eyewear group TWC L’AMY , the designs reflect Bally’s leather goods with titanium and leather frames.  

 Bally’s iconic elements: the red and white Trainspotting stripe, the Mountain Goat motif,the Bally Crest and the Block-B are also present.

The men’s models range from contemporary thin, rectangular frames to more vintage shapes such as the aviator and classic tortoisehell.

The centre piece for the men’s collection is a classic aviator model featuring a bridge nosepiece and temples lined in leather. Bally’s Block-B is crafted from metal mounted inside the temples places at the end tip. Lenses are available in brown or polarised green.

This collection will be available in selected Bally stores from Dec 2012 and in dedicated optical retailers from Jan 2013

Cheap Monday AW12 Collection

Inspiration is drawn from evolution in nature with coarse structures giving the feel of earth or gravel.
Colour palette reflects fog and dust.
Touches of Eastern philosophy and contemporary martial arts influence. Although the below image reminds me of a medieval knight in chain mail- what do you think?

Hisoka sweater in colour blocks of grey, green and pale beige accessorised with 2 plaited leather belts, the bottom one of which has 2 leather keychain necklaces dangling from it. The sleeve suspenders are separate from the jumper.Worn with 2 tube scarves, one in black one in grey and underneath is the long sleeved Tung Tee in dark grey marl .
Jeans are a tight yet classic silhouette all the way from top to bottom. In a non stretch fabric with low waist and normal back rise. Legs are tapered. Key wash for AW12 is the Coated Denim in black

Torex shirt in grey blue with fade blue jeans. Accessorised with black Alan hat. Braces separate from shirt.

I can see the martial arts influence on the above image. Alas I have no information on the shirt jacket - I don't think it is out yet.
