MCCVIII (Twelve -O-Eight) AW17 footwear collection

MCCVIII is the luxury footwear label founded by shoe designer Carl Gilliam and his brother, music superstar will.i.am.

Named after their childhood home address of 1208 Glennfield Court in Boyle Heights, Esat Los Angeles, the collection is inspired by their backgrounds and the values they learned growing up.

The Chariot collection features two new distinctive silhouettes, the Chariot Archer High-Top and Chariot Archer Low-Top. Inspired by the ancient Roman sport of chariot racing - from the traditional shape of a chariot to the successful charioteers who bought their freedom - the Chariot is an everyday shoe for the modern champion. With a custom luxe rubber sole, the Chariot comes in an array of distinctive colour combinations including orange with a green sole, pink with a pale blue sole, blue with an orange sole and metallic with a white sole.

The 2nd shoe collection features a reinterpretation of the brand's Pharaoh silhouette with the introduction of the Pharaoh Fringe - in black, light blue, pink, peach, red and tan.

The collection also consists of the Pharaoh High -Top and the Pharaoh High Top Plates. the Plates are accented with 18 carat gold plated details.

These square toed sneakers are of Italian calf leather and Italian nubuck leather with lambskin lining.
