'Hold Yer Head Up’ inspiration came from Shannon’s interest in photojournalism and David Attenborough’s Human Planet series.,
where he noticed sportswear such as old track tops are worn by tribes along with their traditional garments,.
Here he added horizontal panels of Peruvian style embellished woven blanket fabrics on to cotton shirts
and nylon track suit tops.
Nylon frills entwined around track bottoms
and trimmed the middle and elbows of nylon kagool type tops,
some in multi rows of greys, whites and navy,
others a single row on track suit tops with matching bottoms.
The main colour palette was black, grey, white with a touch of navy, although a tiny splash of orange managed to creep in to the Peruvian fabrics.
Ok, not sure I understand the track suit with frills. I'm hoping it looks better in person. But, nonetheless, I still say....shop, shop, shop. Interesting post...lol
